All pieces are created with great care and intention. Many items are made to order using ethically sourced insect specimens that passed away naturally. Because these are real animals, each spider or scorpion is completely unique and may vary slightly in size, shape, coloration, and symmetry. Finished pieces will be as close to the listing images as possible, but natural variation is part of the beauty of this work. Some collections, including made to order pieces such as the Love Bugs collection, may also vary slightly in frame style or details depending on availability. Colors may appear slightly different in person due to lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
Creating each piece is a time intensive, hands on process. From receiving the specimens to rehydration, pinning, framing, and adding embellishments, each step takes time and care. Once specimens are received, the creation process itself can take up to one week to complete, with specimen sourcing adding an additional two to five business days. Processing and shipping may also take a few extra days, as everything is made, packaged, and shipped by me personally. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and $100 of included insurance. I take great care in packaging all items securely, but once a package is in the hands of the postal service, I have no control over delays or damage. If something does happen during transit, I am happy to assist with filing an insurance claim for the covered amount. Additional shipping options, including extra insurance or expedited shipping, may be available upon request. Please feel free to contact me directly prior to ordering if you would like to discuss alternate shipping arrangements.
These pieces are intended for indoor display only. To ensure longevity, please keep artwork away from direct sunlight, moisture, and excessive humidity. This artwork is decorative in nature and not intended as a toy or for handling by children or pets.
All sales are final. Refunds or store credits may be offered at my sole discretion on a case by case basis. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to the shop policies, timelines, and the natural variation inherent in handmade artwork using real specimens.
